Intensives

Intensives

More time. More depth. More transformation.

Therapy intensives offer an opportunity to move beyond the limitations of the traditional 55-minute session and engage in deeper, more focused healing work. By setting aside dedicated time, we can explore underlying patterns, process trauma more thoroughly, and support nervous system regulation without having to stop just as meaningful work is beginning. Many clients find that intensives create momentum, accelerate progress, and allow for lasting change in a way that weekly therapy alone may not always provide.

Still Have Questions?

  • While weekly therapy can be highly effective, many clients find that significant time is spent reviewing the week, settling into the session, and then stopping just as deeper work begins. Intensives create the space to move beyond surface-level concerns, allowing for more thorough processing, nervous system regulation, and lasting change in a shorter period of time.

  • Intensives can be helpful for individuals who feel stuck in traditional therapy, want to address a specific issue or traumatic experience, are preparing for a major life transition, or simply want to accelerate their healing process. They can also be beneficial for those with busy schedules who prefer concentrated periods of therapeutic work rather than weekly appointments.

  • Every intensive is personalized to your unique needs and goals. Depending on what you're working through, we may integrate EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, parts work, nervous system regulation strategies, attachment-focused interventions, and mindfulness-based approaches. The day is structured with intentional breaks and paced to support both emotional processing and nervous system capacity.

  • Intensives can be effective for trauma, anxiety, relationship patterns, attachment wounds, grief, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, burnout, and experiences that continue to feel unresolved despite previous therapy. Together, we'll determine whether an intensive is the right fit for your specific goals.

  • The best way to determine if an intensive is a good fit is through a consultation. We'll discuss your goals, history, current challenges, and what you're hoping to achieve. If an intensive isn't the right approach, I'll help guide you toward services that better meet your needs. My goal is to ensure you receive the support that will be most beneficial for your healing journey.

  • I currently offer 3-hour and 6-hour therapy intensives on Fridays. Intensives are tailored to your unique goals and may incorporate EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, nervous system regulation, and other trauma-informed approaches based on your needs. The investment is $250 per hour.

Because intensives are a highly personalized service, a consultation is required prior to scheduling. During this consultation, we'll discuss your goals, history, current challenges, and determine whether an intensive is the best fit for the work you'd like to accomplish. This helps ensure that your intensive is thoughtfully designed to support meaningful progress and lasting change.
